Kyle Breckenridge – Web Developer
Kyle moved to the North Bay in 2003 and has lived here ever since. He has 10 years of personal experience with web technologies and has been working in the field for 7 years, 4 of which were locally in Santa Rosa. In that time he has flourished from an entry level designer to a full-fledged designer/developer focusing on WordPress themes. His current passion is CSS3, especially animations that can be done entirely in the browser without any need for additional scripting.
Outside of work he plays on several soccer teams and plays video games far too much. He also enjoys pretty much everything in the sci-fi and fantasy genre and can often be found at home playing with new web technologies with Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or an old Superman movie playing in the background.
Tara McGoldrick Walsh – Content Editor
Tara has more than 15 years of experience editing and writing content in nearly every medium but was hooked on the web when she saw her first websites in the mid ’90s as a copy editor for one of Ziff Davis’ magazines. After joining O’Reilly Media in 1998, Tara began working on its main online property, oreilly.com, and then served as Network Editor for its content site, the O’Reilly Network, for a number of years. After leaving O’Reilly Tara had her own editorial business for 6 years, consulting on online content for a variety of web startups, nonprofits, and technology publishers. Originally from the East Coast but happy to call California home, Tara has two adorable sons with her partner and the boys keep them very active with their travel soccer teams, piano, and drama (of the musical theater kind).
Crystal has more than ten years of experience in sales, marketing, management, and brand development. The past eight years have been in the wine industry as a Tasting Room and Wine Club Manager. Her goal is to bring Social Media awareness and understanding through her expert customer service skills.
