Greg’s experience includes reporting and editing with papers from The New York Times to others across the country. He has directed The Press Democrat Media Co.’s websites since 2008 and has led the development of digital content and marketing initiatives including Towns, WatchSonomaCounty, PDPreps, and other sites. He also serves as the Online Editor in the Press Democrat newsroom.
Jennifer Williams – Advertising Director
Jennifer manages the Press Democrat Print and Digital Advertising Division. She specializes in Web Strategy, SEO and conversion. With over 10 years of experience helping businesses across the country build and market a web presence targeted to the right audience and focused on the ideal user experience, Jennifer is passionate about formulating a solution that delivers results.
Tomas Chadsey – Technical Services Manager
After graduating from Sonoma State, Tom started out as programmer and web developer for pressdemocrat.com. He has worked on numerous strategic digital initiatives for the NY Times Regional Media Group and for The Press Democrat Media Company.
Deborah Ramirez – Digital Sales Manager
Deborah specializes in a variety of web services for PD Media Lab including web development, SEO, SEM, and banner advertising. She consults with small to medium sized clients to help them develop innovative and customized digital advertising solutions. Her goal is to help these clients gain an advantage in the local market.
Marilee Groth – Operations Manager
Marilee has been a Sonoma County resident for over twenty years, supporting non-profits, small businesses, and fortune 500 companies over her successful career. She thrives on communicating with our clients, juggling multiple priorities and managing projects. In her spare time, you may find her at many local high school events or on our local links.
Zack Hyde – Digital Operations Manager
Zack joined the Advertising department at a pivotal time in our industry’s transformation to a multimedia company. Zack has been a part of the Press Democrat for two years, and is now a part of the Media Lab. Responsibilities include SEO reports and analysis, and assisting with various other client analytics. He handles integration between client ads and web products to ensure a seamless experience. He spends most of his free time with his wife Nicole, and 2 young children Addyson (4) and Jackson (1), and enjoys playing golf whenever time permits.
Bernice Paz – Interactive Marketing Creative Specialist
Bernice has been with The Press Democrat for over 13 years, from a Graphics Liaison to being part of The Design and Projects Team. She now is a part of the PD Media Lab and specializes in the creation of creative campaigns for our new customers and optimizing our existing clients. She spends most of her time enjoying the Sonoma County Wine Country.
Tim Doyle – Search Engine Optimization Specialist
Tim is a graduate from Sonoma State, and has worked in web development and web hosting for over 10 years. His experience with small business ownership and customer service brings a marketing perspective to his SEO process. He lives in Sonoma County with his wife Kristina, and two children Jake (7) and Emma (5).
Kyle Breckenridge – Web Developer
Kyle moved to the North Bay in 2003 and has lived here ever since. He has 10 years of personal experience with web technologies and has been working in the field for 7 years, 4 of which were locally in Santa Rosa. In that time he has flourished from an entry level designer to a full-fledged designer/developer focusing on WordPress themes. His current passion is CSS3, especially animations that can be done entirely in the browser without any need for additional scripting.
Outside of work he plays on several soccer teams and plays video games far too much. He also enjoys pretty much everything in the sci-fi and fantasy genre and can often be found at home playing with new web technologies with Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or an old Superman movie playing in the background.
Crystal Jackson – SMO Specialist
Crystal has more than ten years of experience in sales, marketing, management, and brand development. The past eight years have been in the wine industry as a Tasting Room and Wine Club Manager. Her goal is to bring Social Media awareness and understanding through her expert customer service skills. Crystal enjoys the vast client base and enjoys visiting client sites, learning their business, taking and posting fun and informal photos.
